LM39300/39301/39302 is a 3A low-voltage low-dropout regulator with low dropout voltage and high output current. It is suitable for applications such as PC add-in cards, high-efficiency linear power supplies, and multimedia and PC processor supplies.
The LM39300, LM39301 and LM39302 are 3 A low‑dropout linear voltage regulators offering very low dropout (500 mV typical at full load) and low ground current (≈36 mA at 3 A). They are available in TO‑263‑3L, TO‑220‑3L and, for the adjustable versions, TO‑263‑5L/TO‑220‑5L packages. Features include 1 % initial accuracy, current limiting, thermal shutdown, reversed‑battery and reversed‑leakage protection, and for LM39301 an enable pin and error‑flag output.
The devices operate from a supply voltage of 2.25 V to 16 V, with a recommended minimum load current of 10 mA for proper regulation. Application notes cover thermal design, capacitor selection, and adjustable output configuration for the LM39302 version.
