About this manual

The AD8313 is a multistage logarithmic detector/amplifier covering 0.1 GHz to 2.5 GHz with a high dynamic range of 70 dB. It operates from a single supply of +2.7 V to +5.5 V, consumes only 40 mW at 3 V, and includes a power‑down mode drawing 60 pW.

The device provides a voltage output that varies from about 0.45 V at –73 dBm input to 1.75 V at 0 dBm, and can be used both as a log‑amp and as a controller with a set‑point input. It is specified for –40 °C to +85 °C operation and is available in an 8‑lead SOIC package.
