About this manual

The ISL9016 dual LDO provides up to 150 mA per channel, operating from a wide 1.8 V to 6.5 V input range. It offers low quiescent current (49 µA single‑LDO, 80 µA dual‑LDO) and high power‑supply rejection (80 dB @1 kHz, 45 dB @1 MHz). The device includes separate enable pins, output‑current limit, over‑heat and reverse‑current protection, and a typical dropout voltage of 120 mV at 150 mA.

The regulator is supplied in a 6‑lead 1.6 mm × 1.6 mm ultra‑thin dual‑flat no‑lead (UTDFN) package. Recommended external components are 1 pF–4.7 µF ceramic capacitors (X5R/X7R) on both input and output, with careful PCB layout and separate ground planes for optimal performance.
