Blackfin Embedded Processor ADSP-BF542/ADSP-BF544/ADSP-BF547/ADSP-BF548/ADSP-BF549 Rev. A is a high-performance Blackfin processor produced by Analog Devices. It supports RISC-like register and instruction models, and the maximum operating frequency can reach 533 MHz.
The ADSP-BF548 is a member of the Blackfin family of embedded processors from Analog Devices. It combines a dual‑MAC, 40‑bit ALU architecture with a RISC‑like instruction set, delivering up to 533 MHz core speed and a rich set of high‑performance peripherals such as USB On‑the‑Go, SD/SDIO, ATA/ATAPI‑6, CAN, UART, SPI, and TWI interfaces.
The processor offers a hierarchical memory system with up to 324 KB of on‑chip memory, optional L2 SRAM (up to 128 KB), and support for external DDR1, asynchronous SRAM, NOR and NAND flash. Integrated features include a programmable on‑chip voltage regulator, dynamic power management, and extensive timer, PWM, and GPIO resources, making it suitable for low‑power, high‑performance embedded applications.
