Analog Devices ADG1433/ADG1434 Datasheet

The ADG1433 and ADG1434 are monolithic industrial CMOS (iCMOS®) analog switches comprising three independently selectable single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) switches and four independently selectable SPDT switches, respectively. All channels exhibit 4.7 Ω maximum on resistance, 0.5 Ω on resistance flatness, 3 V logic-compatible inputs, up to 115 mA of continuous current per channel, rail-to-rail operation, break-before-make switching action, and 16-/20-lead TSSOP and 4 mm × 4 mm LFCSP_VQ packages.

About this manual

The ADG1433 and ADG1434 are monolithic iCMOS analog switches that provide three (ADG1433) or four (ADG1434) independently selectable SPDT switches. They feature break‑before‑make switching, rail‑to‑rail operation, and low power dissipation, making them suitable for portable, battery‑powered instruments and data‑acquisition systems.

Typical applications include relay replacement, audio/video routing, automatic test equipment, data acquisition, avionics, medical equipment and other battery‑powered or high‑performance analog systems. The datasheet lists detailed specifications, pin configurations, absolute maximum ratings and functional block diagrams for both +15 V dual‑supply and single‑supply versions.

Frequently asked questions

How much continuous current can each channel handle?

Each channel can handle up to 115 mA for ADG1433 and up to 100 mA for ADG1434.

What supply voltages are supported by the devices?

They operate with a +15 V dual supply (Vop = +15 V, Vss = –15 V) and also with a +12 V single‑supply version.

What is the typical transition time for the switches?

The typical transition time is 140 ns.
