The ADP3339 is a high accuracy, ultralow IQ, 1.5 A, anyCAP® low dropout regulator. This product features high accuracy, ultralow dropout, no external compensation capacitor, and is suitable for applications such as notebook computers, palmtop computers, SCSI terminators, battery-powered systems, PCMCIA regulators, bar code scanners, and cameras.
The ADP3339 is a high‑accuracy, ultra‑low dropout (LDO) regulator that operates from a 2.8 V to 6 V input and delivers up to 1.5 A of load current. It offers ±0.9 % voltage accuracy at 25 °C, a typical dropout of 230 mV at full load, and very low quiescent current. The device is stable with any type of output capacitor, including MLCCs, and includes built‑in current and thermal limiting.
Typical applications include notebook and palmtop computers, SCSI terminators, battery‑powered systems, PCMCIA regulators, bar‑code scanners, camcorders and other portable electronics. The datasheet provides detailed specifications, pin descriptions, performance graphs, PCB layout recommendations, and ordering information.
