The i6000s Flex AC Current Probe can be used with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, recorders or data recorders, and can measure AC currents up to 6000 A. The flexible measurement head can measure currents on conductors that are difficult or impossible to reach with conventional clamp-on current probes. The probe provides a low-voltage (3 V AC) output that is proportional to the measured current. The probe provides 60 A, 600 A and 6000 A full-scale direct readings.

Open the battery compartment on the rear of the probe housing, remove the two AA MN1500/LR6 alkaline cells, insert new batteries with the correct polarity, and close the battery lock.
Only qualified personnel should install or service the probe, disconnect power before installation, never place the probe on live conductors, wear appropriate protective equipment, and do not use on conductors exceeding 600 V RMS.
The probe can measure AC currents up to 6000 A.
Center the conductor within the flexible head, keep the cable at least 25 mm from the joint and at least 200 mm from external conductors, and ensure the probe is not placed on high‑voltage conductors without proper shielding.
