This document describes the features and advantages of the HP ProLiant DL120 G5 server, including entry-level rack server, single-processor, cost-effective solution, optional remote management, etc.
The HP ProLiant DL120 G5 is a 1U rack‑mount server designed for network infrastructure, web‑farm and ISP applications. It supports a range of Intel processors from Pentium dual‑core to Xeon quad‑core, offers four DDR2‑ECC DIMM slots for up to 8 GB of memory, and includes an integrated NC105i Gigabit Ethernet controller.
The server provides extensive expandability with two PCI‑Express slots, optional SAS/HBA cards, and up to two non‑hot‑plug 3.5" drives. An optional Lights‑Out 100c remote‑management card enables KVM over IP, power control and firmware updates. Power is supplied by an adaptive 350 W PFC unit, and the chassis measures 4.30 cm × 44.80 cm × 69.85 cm (1U) with a weight of about 14 kg. This manual is written in Chinese.
