The KS‑6215N and KS‑6215 PLUS are POS terminal systems that combine a compact PC‑like core with a rugged, fan‑less design, a high‑quality LCD display, and optional UPS and storage options. They support multiple operating systems such as WinCE, Windows XP Pro, POSReady, WEPOS, and Linux.
This guide covers hardware installation, including separating the main unit from the base, mounting the base, connecting the UPS battery, attaching optional LCD panels and peripheral devices, wiring the system, and configuring serial, USB, and network interfaces.
