This document introduces NEC's first microprocessor of the V810 familyTM, the µPD70732 (also known as V810), for embedded control applications. The V810 utilizes a RISC architecture and has features such as high-speed real-time response, high-speed integer operation instruction, bit string instruction, floating-point operation instruction, and significantly high cost performance. It is suitable for applications such as facsimile, digital PPC, word processor, image processor, real-time control device, etc.
