This document describes the features and characteristics of the red PLCC4 surface mount LED product produced by OPTEK. It includes high brightness, low power consumption, compatibility with automatic placement equipment, wide viewing angle, etc. The product is suitable for applications such as traffic lights, indicators, backlighting, and interior automotive lighting.

The OVLEW5CB6 is a 5 mm white high-intensity lamp with a 50° viewing angle and stand-offs. It is designed for applications that require high luminous intensity, such as indoor and outdoor displays, marker lights and optical indicators.

The Power Line Designer Kit 0.5-Watt LED Modules OVPL5W3K is a flexible and scalable lighting solution using mid-power LEDs to supply high luminous flux without additional heatsinking requirements. The kit includes components and instructions to allow a designer to configure LED placement as needed for uniform illumination in his application. With a 15-volt power supply, the Power Line Kit is a total lighting solution.

The OPB780Z reflective color sensor assembly features high-resolution conversion of light intensity to frequency, selectable color output frequency, direct communication with a microcontroller, sensor power supply operation (2.7 V to 5.5 V), and a separate LED power input.

OVSARGB3R8 is a full-color PLCC4 LED from OPTEK. It has a size of 3.5 x 2.8 x 1.9 mm, a viewing angle of 120°, and is compatible with infrared and vapor phase reflow solder. It can be used in applications such as handheld appliances and automotive interiors.

OPTEK OVLEW3CB6 is a round, 5 mm white high-intensity lamp with a 30 degree viewing angle and standoffs. It is designed for applications that require high luminous intensity, such as indoor and outdoor displays, marker lights and optical indicators.

OVLEW1CB9 is a 5mm round white high-intensity LED lamp with a 15° viewing angle. It is designed for applications that require high luminous intensity, such as indoor and outdoor displays, marker lights and optical indicators. The phosphor used in the reflector converts the blue emission of the InGaN chip to ideal white light so that the best mode of white light intensity and CIE chromaticity are achieved.

OPTEK Long Distance Reflective Switch OPB720A and OPB720B Series. The OPB720A and OPB720B Series reflective switches detects objects as far away as 12” (305 mm) using standard 90% reflective material, and can detect objects as small as 0.08” (2 mm).

OPTEK OPB720A and OPB720B series long distance reflective switches can detect objects up to 12 inches (305 mm) using standard 90% reflective material, and can detect objects as small as 0.08 inches (2 mm).

The OPB720A Series reflective switches detect objects as far away as 24” (610 mm) using standard 90% reflective material, and can detect objects as small as 0.08” (2 mm). The OPB720A sensor is not affected by ambient light in most conditions, as it compensates for ambient light using a synchronous driver detection scheme. It has a logical output that switches from a high level with no reflection target to a low level with a reflection target. The OPB720A series minimizes switching oscillations on the output by adding hysteresis. The series can be used in either a reflective or interruptive mode depending on the type of material used for the target.
