The L6571 is a high voltage half bridge driver with a built-in oscillator. The frequency of the oscillator can be programmed using an external resistor and capacitor. The internal circuitry allows the device to also be driven by an external logic signal. The output drivers are designed to drive external n-channel power MOSFET and IGBT. The internal logic ensures a dead time to avoid cross-conduction of the power devices. Two versions are available: L6571A and L6571B. They differ in the internal dead time: 1.25μs and 0.72μs (typical).

The L6574 is a high voltage driver designed for lamp ballast applications. It is manufactured with BCD OFF LINE technology to ensure voltage ratings above 600V. The L6574 is capable of driving two power MOS-FETs in a half bridge topology to drive and control a fluorescent bulb. It features a dedicated timing section for pre-heat and ignition of the lamp, as well as a sense op amp for closed loop control or protection. The integrated bootstrap section and clamping on VS make the L6574 suitable for low cost applications.
