MCR101 SCR is a sensitive gate silicon controlled rectifier produced by Unisonic. It has reverse blocking diode characteristics. It can be used in various applications that require high current and high reliability, such as relay and lamp drivers, small motor controllers, gate drivers for larger thyristors, and sensing and detection circuits.

The UTC MCR101 SCR is a PNPN device designed for high volume, line-powered consumer applications such as relay and lamp drivers, small motor controls, gate drivers for larger thyristors, and sensing and detection circuits. It features a sensitive gate that allows triggering by microcontrollers and other logic circuits, a blocking voltage of up to 600V, an on-state current rating of 0.8A RMS at 80°C, high surge current capability of 10A, and immunity to dV/dt of at least 20V/µsec at 110°C.
