The CAT874 is a switch controller designed to start and shut off smartphones using a push button input or by the phone's microcontroller unit. It monitors two inputs (PWR_ON and V_CHG) and provides an active high output after the PWR_ON input has been active (logic low) for a factory preset minimum time.
The device features a push-pull output capable of sinking up to 3 mA of current and operates on a wide voltage range from 1.8 V to 5.5 V. It includes Schmitt trigger inputs and is available in an ULLGA-6 package measuring 1.45 x 1.0 x 0.4 mm.
