Press and hold the HOLD key for more than 2 seconds to toggle the backlight; press again for the same duration to turn it off.
When the NCV sensor detects an electric field above 100 V, a red LED lights up on the panel to indicate the presence of voltage without contacting the circuit.
The instrument complies with IEC 61010‑1 safety standards and is rated CAT IV 600 V.
