TDA8947J is a 4-channel audio power amplifier that provides 1W to 25W of SE output power and 4W to 50W of BTL output power. It features flexible clipping, standby and mute modes, no on/off switch sound, low standby current, high power supply voltage ripple rejection, output short circuit protection for ground, power and bridging loads, thermal protection and other features.
The TDA8947J integrates four identical audio power amplifiers that can be configured as four single‑ended (SE) channels, two bridge‑load (BTL) channels, or a combination of SE and BTL for 2.1‑system applications. It is supplied in a 17‑pin DBS package and offers features such as standby, mute, low standby current, high supply‑ripple rejection, and built‑in over‑temperature and short‑circuit protection.
The datasheet details electrical specifications (supply voltage 9‑26 V, output power up to 18 W per BTL channel), pin assignments, thermal characteristics, and recommended PCB and heat‑sink designs. Ordering information, mechanical drawings, and soldering guidelines are also included to aid designers in implementing the device. This manual is written in Chinese.
