Turn the side temperature knob clockwise from “1” to “7”; higher numbers set lower temperatures. The knob does not show exact degrees, only relative settings.
Ensure the power plug stays firmly inserted in the socket; a loose connection can cause a fire.
Use needle‑nose pliers to pull the thermostat knob out of the control panel.
