Sony has introduced three new HD resolution cameras to meet the growing demand for high-quality and high-resolution images. All three cameras inherit a multitude of features from Sony's world-renowned FCB Series such as Wide-D, auto ICR and Spherical Privacy Zone mas.
The document introduces Sony's 2011 Image Sensing Solutions lineup, covering several camera families such as the FCB‑HD, FCB‑EX, FCB‑IX, and the EVI series. Each series is described with model variants, sensor types, resolution options, optical zoom ranges, and special functions like Wide‑D, privacy‑zone masking, and image stabilization.
Key technical highlights include high‑definition CMOS sensors (1/2.8‑type Exmor for the flagship FCB‑EH6300), optical zooms up to 28×, digital zoom capabilities, multiple video output formats (HD analog component, SD VBS/Y‑C), and robust pan/tilt mechanisms with speeds up to 300°/s. The EVI‑HD models also feature 10× optical zoom with 40× total zoom, RS‑232C VISCA remote control, and six programmable presets.
