Only qualified technical personnel may install the ACS550, and the power must be disconnected and a 5‑minute wait observed before opening the front panel.
The ACS550 operates in ambient temperatures from –15 °C to 40 °C (5 °F to 104 °F), with an extended range of –40 °C to 70 °C under reduced performance.
The ACS550 is offered with IP 21 / UL type 1 protection, and higher‑grade versions with IP 54 / UL type 12 are also available.
