The CAREL ir33 platform is a range of integrated electronic microprocessor controllers with LED displays designed specifically for controlling stand-alone refrigeration units. These controllers are suitable for applications requiring high load switching power, numerous outputs, and direct keypad access, while maintaining a compact shape. The platform includes various models with different power supply versions and features such as smart defrost, multifunction inputs/outputs, and real-time clock capabilities.

The unit switches off the display to reduce power consumption, while the main relays remain energised and the unit continues to operate normally.
When the duty setting function is active, the compressor has a fixed OFF time of 15 minutes.
