SAA7113H is a 9-bit video input processor with four analog inputs and internal analog source selectors.
The SAA7113H is a highly integrated 9-bit video input processor designed for desktop video applications such as notebook computers, PCMCIA cards, and AGP graphics. It combines analog preprocessing with automatic gain control, anti-aliasing filters, and two 9-bit ADCs to digitize CVBS or Y/C signals.
The device features a digital multi-standard decoder capable of processing PAL BGHI, PAL M, NTSC M, and SECAM signals into CCIR-601 compatible values. It includes an on-chip clock generator requiring only one crystal, automatic field frequency detection (50/60 Hz), and a multi-standard VBI data slicer for decoding teletext, closed captions, and other vertical interval data.
| Digital supply voltage (VDDD) | 3.0 to 3.6 V |
|---|---|
| Power dissipation (PA+D) | < 0.4 W |
It supports PAL BGHI, PAL N, combination PAL N, PAL M, NTSC M, NTSC N, NTSC 4.43, NTSC-Japan, and SECAM.
The device requires only one crystal with a frequency of 24.576 MHz.
The SAA7113H comes in a QFP44 plastic quad flat package with 44 leads.
