The needle is pre-set at 4 turns out from fully closed. Once broken-in, it typically runs from 3-1/2 to 3-3/4 turns out from closed.
Remove the glow plug, turn the truck upside down, and pull the recoil starter 5 or 6 times to clear excess fuel.
You should fill the tank to the 'starting fuel level' line, which corresponds to half-full.
