AN2559 is a system power supply board reference design for powering digital applications, such as CPUs, FPGAs, memories, etc.
This document describes the STEVAL-PSQ001V1 demo board, a system power supply reference board designed for powering digital applications such as CPUs, FPGAs, and memories. The board illustrates basic power supply design principles and provides a usable prototype for testing, featuring an industrial input range up to 36 V.
| Input Voltage | 5 V - 36 V DC |
|---|---|
| Output 1 (Vcore) Voltage | 0.9, 1.0, 1.2, 1.5, 1.8 or 2.5V |
| Output 1 (Vcore) Current | 4 A continuous, 6 A peak |
| Output 2 (Vio) Voltage | 1.0, 1.2, 1.5, 1.8, 2.5V or 3.3V |
| Output 2 (Vio) Current | 2 A continuous, 3 A peak |
| Output 3 (Veyg) Voltage | 3.3V |
| Output 3 (Veyg) Current | 0.4 A (0.8 A peak) |
| Analog 5 V Output | 5 V |
| Analog 3.3 V Output | 3.3V |
The input voltage range is 5 V to 36 V DC.
The dual DC-DC converter is based on the PM6680A.
The maximum continuous current for Output 1 is 4 A.
Output 1 can be set to 0.9, 1.0, 1.2, 1.5, 1.8, or 2.5 V.
