FSL137H is a green mode Fairchild power switch with built-in 5ms soft-start function, internal avalanche rugged 700V SenseFET, low audio noise, high-voltage startup, etc.
The FSL137H is a highly integrated power switch designed for high-performance offline Switch Mode Power Supplies (SMPS) with minimal external components. It combines an integrated current mode Pulse Width Modulator (PWM) with an avalanche-rugged 700V SenseFET. The device features a proprietary green-mode function that linearly decreases switching frequency at light loads to minimize standby power consumption and meet international power conservation requirements.
The controller includes various protection functions such as cycle-by-cycle current limiting, internal open-loop protection, over-voltage protection, and over-temperature protection. It operates with a fixed PWM frequency of 100kHz in nominal mode, which decreases to a minimum of 18kHz to avoid acoustic noise. The device is suitable for applications including adapters, VCRs, STBs, and printers.
