The filter requires one of the following PurexTriton accessories which must be purchased separately: Push-Pull valve, Multiport valve, or Bulkhead union set.
Never operate the filter in excess of three minutes without using diatomaceous earth, as this will damage filter elements and shorten filtering cycles.
Only a silicone base lubricant should be used on the O-rings to avoid damage; do not use pipe joint compound, glue, or solvent.
