This manual introduces the features and characteristics of HI 8427 and HI 931001 pH/mV Simulators. Two calibration ranges are provided: from 0 to 14 pH and from -1900 to 1900 mV with HI 8427; from 0 to 14 pH and from -1000 to 1000 mV with HI 931001. HI 931001 provides with pH/mV values at 25°C. HI 8427 allows the manual temperature compensation and is equipped with a HIGH IM-PEDANCE key and LEAKAGE LED to verify if the connection cable is in perfect condi- tion. A low battery indicator will be lit when the simulator battery runs low.
The HI8427 and HI931001 are portable pH/mV simulators designed specifically for calibrating pH and mV (ORP) meters. The HI8427 offers a range of 0 to 14 pH and -1900 to 1900 mV, featuring manual temperature compensation and a high impedance test. Connect the simulator to the meter, press the HIGH IMPEDANCE key, and observe the LEAKAGE LED. If the LED does not light, the cable is in perfect condition.
The battery lasts for approximately 100 hours of continuous use with the HI8427 and 500 hours with the HI931001.
