About this manual

The Ricoh R1210Nxx1x Series are CMOS-based PWM step-up DC/DC converters designed for high accuracy and low supply current. Each unit consists of an oscillator, PWM circuit, reference voltage unit, error amplifier, phase compensation circuit, and a chip enable circuit. The series includes a controller against drastic load transients and a control transistor with low ON-resistance. The R1210Nxx1A Series specifically contains a circuit for changing the oscillator frequency when the load current is small, reducing supply current in low-load conditions.
