UDA1324TS is a low voltage stereo filter DAC launched by Philips company, which has the characteristics of low power consumption, low voltage power supply, selectable control via L3 microcontroller interface or via static pin control, support 256fs, 384fs and 512fs system clock frequencies via L3 interface or 256fs and 384fs via static pin control, support sampling frequencies (fs) from 16 to 48 kHz, integrated digital filter plus non inverting Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC), no analog post filtering required for DAC, only suitable for slave mode applications, easy application and small package size (SSOP16).
The Philips UDA1324TS is a single-chip stereo Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) employing bitstream conversion techniques. It features ultra-low voltage requirements, operating from 1.9 to 2.7 V, making it suitable for portable digital audio equipment.
The device supports multiple input formats including I2S-bus, MSB-justified, and LSB-justified with word lengths up to 20 bits. It operates in two modes: L3 mode, which allows control of system clock frequency and digital sound processing via a microcontroller interface, and static pin mode for simpler applications.
