This document introduces the characteristics of Agilent 1260 Infinity Analytical SFC Solutions, including unprecedented reproducibility, sensitivity and low detector noise.
The Agilent 1260 Infinity Analytical SFC Solutions set higher standards in performance, cost of ownership, and reliability. The system combines next-generation pre- and post-conditioning of supercritical CO2 to achieve the lowest detector baseline noise ever measured, translating to a 10-fold increase in detection sensitivity. It allows for routine analytical SFC and significantly reduces mobile phase expenses by using low-cost, beverage-grade CO2 as the major mobile phase component.
The solutions are available in three variations: an economic upgrade to current 1100 or 1200 systems, a full 1260 Infinity Analytical SFC system, and a new Hybrid SFC/UHPLC system. The Hybrid system allows users to run SFC and UHPLC methods on a single instrument by simply switching a valve, eliminating the need for hardware modification and reducing investment costs.
The system offers a power range up to 600 bar.
The SFC version of the pump performs precise metering up to flow rates of 5 mL/min.
The SFC autosampler is fitted with a 5 ul fixed injection loop.
