Sipex SP7651 Wide Input Voltage Range Buck Regulator Datasheet

The SP7651 is a wide input voltage range 3A, 900kHz buck regulator. It has a step-down capability from 2.5V to 20V, with an output voltage down to 0.8V. It has a 3A output capability (up to 5A with air flow) and built-in low RDSON power FETs (typical value of 40 mΩ). The design is highly integrated with minimal components. The regulator operates at a fixed frequency of 900 kHz. It features UVLO detection for both VCC and VIN, over temperature protection, and short circuit protection with auto-restart. The wide bandwidth amplifier allows for type II or III compensation. It has a programmable soft start and fast transient response. High efficiency of greater than 92% is possible. The regulator can perform asynchronous start-up into a pre-charged output. It is available in a small 7mm x 4mm DFN package.
