The ADuC812 set of development tools incorporate a complete suite of software and hardware design tools that allow you quickly and efficiently design, program, simulate, download and debug your MicroConverter application. This document describes the typical usage of ADuC812 development environment.
The document describes the Analog Devices ADuC812-Tools set of development tools. This suite incorporates a complete range of software and hardware design tools that allow users to quickly and efficiently design, program, simulate, download, and debug MicroConverter applications.
The toolset includes the ASM51 8051 Cross Assembler, ADSIM812 Windows Simulator for full functionality simulation including ADC and DAC peripherals, DEBUG812 Serial Port Debugger for code execution debugging via UART, DLOAD812 Serial Downloader for transferring programs to on-chip FLASH memory, and the QuickStart Development System which includes a fully featured evaluation board.
| Cross Assembler Type | ASM51: 8051 Cross Assembler |
|---|---|
| Simulator Platform | Windows application |
| Debugger Interface | ADuC812 UART serial port |
| Downloader Target Memory | on-chip program FLASH memory |
The ADSIM812 is a Windows application that fully simulates all ADuC812 functionality including ADC and DAC peripherals.
The DEBUG812 allows users to debug code execution on silicon using the ADuC812 UART serial port.
It consists of the development tool components as well as a fully featured evaluation board.
