This document introduces the features of the LTC3589 power management chip, including eight regulated outputs, flexible pin binding, I2C control, dynamic voltage scaling, error reporting, power good status reporting, and built-in pushbutton controller.
The LTC3589 is a high-efficiency power management solution designed to provide eight independent regulated outputs in a single IC. It supports various output configurations including LDOs and switching buck/buck-boost converters with current capabilities ranging from 25mA to 1.6A. The device integrates control features such as flexible pin-strapped supply sequencing, dynamic voltage scaling (DVS), and power good status reporting.
The device is designed to run from an input supply range of 2.7V to 5.5V.
The three additional LDOs are each capable of delivering 250mA.
