About this manual

The AD9058 combines two independent 8‑bit ADCs on a single monolithic IC. It provides up to 50 MSPS conversion rates, low input capacitance (10 pF), and an on‑board 2 V voltage reference that can drive both converters. The device operates from 0 V to 2 V (unipolar) or –1 V to +2 V (bipolar) and is available in hermetic 48‑lead DIP and 44‑lead J‑lead packages.

Typical applications include quadrature demodulation for communications, digital oscilloscopes, electronic warfare and radar. The datasheet includes electrical characteristics, pin configurations, theory of operation, layout recommendations and ordering information.
