ISP1161A is a single-chip USB host controller and device controller produced by ISP company. It complies with USB 2.0 standard, supports full-speed and low-speed transmission, and also has two downstream interfaces and one upstream interface, which can be connected to any USB-compliant device and hub.
The ISP1161A is a single‑chip USB controller that combines a host controller (HC) and a device controller (DC) on the same die. Both controllers comply with USB Specification Rev. 2.0, offering full‑speed (12 Mbit/s) and low‑speed (1.5 Mbit/s) operation for the host and full‑speed for the device. The chip provides selectable one or two downstream ports for the host and one upstream port for the device, with independent interrupt, DMA, and power‑switching pins, enabling flexible power‑management and peer‑to‑peer connectivity.
Typical applications include PDAs, digital cameras, 3G phones, set‑top boxes, photo printers, MP3 jukeboxes and game consoles. The device is supplied in LQFP64 packages (SOT314‑2 or SOT414‑1) and operates from either a 3.0‑3.6 V or a 4.75‑5.25 V supply, with an operating temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C.
