This datasheet introduces the features of 80C31/32 80C51 8-bit microcontroller family, including ROMless, low voltage (2.7 V–5.5 V), low power, high speed (33 MHz).
The 80C31/80C32 family are ROMless 8‑bit microcontrollers fabricated in Philips high‑density CMOS technology. They operate from 2.7 V to 5.5 V, offer 128 × 8 RAM (80C31) or 256 × 8 RAM (80C32), four 8‑bit I/O ports, three 16‑bit timers, a full‑duplex UART and on‑chip oscillator, and can run up to 33 MHz.
The devices are available in PDIP, PLCC and PQFP packages and support several power‑saving modes: idle, power‑down and a stop‑clock mode that can halt the oscillator while retaining RAM and registers. Pin‑out tables, special‑function registers, and ONCE (On‑Circuit Emulation) mode details are included for hardware designers.
