About this manual

The DSS series offers surge protection for telephone lines (telephone, modem, facsimile, etc.) and for telecommunication lines such as computer connections. Several models are UL‑approved and meet standards like UL 1414, UL 1449 and UL 1459.

Technical data include spark‑over voltage ratings from 200 V to 600 V, high insulation resistance, low capacitance (≤1 pF) and surge current capabilities up to 500 A. The devices are supplied in various packaging forms (axial tape, reel, bulk) and are suitable for a wide range of applications including power supplies, TV tuners, antenna circuits and industrial equipment.
