This document describes the features and characteristics of the 12-bit, 80 MSPS/105 MSPS/125 MSPS/150 MSPS, 1.8 V Dual Analog-to-Digital Converter AD9627.
The AD9627 is a dual, 12‑bit analog‑to‑digital converter that supports sample rates of 80 MSPS, 105 MSPS, 125 MSPS and 150 MSPS from a single 1.8 V supply. It features a differential pipelined architecture, integrated voltage reference, fast‑detect over‑range detection, and a programmable signal‑monitor block.
The device is supplied in a 64‑lead LFCSP package and operates over an industrial temperature range (‑40 °C to +85 °C). It provides both CMOS (1.8 V–3.3 V) and LVDS output options, and can be configured via a 3‑bit SPI‑compatible serial interface. Power‑down modes enable significant energy savings when the ADC is idle.
| Resolution | 12 bits |
|---|---|
| Maximum Sample Rate | 150 MSPS |
| Supply Voltage (AVDD/DVDD) | 1.8 V |
| Output Supply (DRVDD) CMOS | 3.3 V |
| Signal‑to‑Noise Ratio (70 MHz, 125 MSPS) | 69.4 dBc |
| Input Bandwidth | 650 MHz |
The AD9627 supports up to 150 MSPS depending on the device variant.
The analog input bandwidth is specified as 650 MHz.
The core analog supplies AVDD and DVDD are 1.8 V, while the digital output driver (DRVDD) can be 3.3 V for CMOS mode or 1.8 V for LVDS mode.
