Slide the battery cover, insert an AAA (LR03 or R03) battery with the correct polarity, and close the cover.
Press the FOLDER/MENU button repeatedly to set year, month, day, hour, and minute; the mode cancels after three minutes of inactivity.
Make sure the HOLD switch is not engaged, the battery is correctly inserted and not depleted, and the battery cover is fully closed.
Approximately 33 minutes of recording time in SP mode.
