OX16C954 is a high performance UART chip produced by Oxford Semiconductor, it has four independent full-duplex asynchronous 16C950 high performance UART channels, 128-byte deep FIFO, programmable Xon/Xoff characters, programmable special character detection, programmable flow control, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9-bit data framing, sleep mode and other features.
