The ADS1281 is an extremely high-performance, single-chip analog-to-digital converter (ADC) designed for the demanding needs of energy exploration and seismic monitoring environments. It features 130dB signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) (250SPS) and 127dB SNR (500SPS), as well as 0.6ppm input offset error (INL).
The ADS1281 is a single‑chip, high‑performance analog‑to‑digital converter designed for energy‑exploration and seismic‑monitoring applications. It features a fourth‑order delta‑sigma modulator, on‑chip digital filtering (sinc, FIR, IIR), and a synchronization input for multi‑device operation.
The device operates from either a unipolar (+5 V) or bipolar (+2.5 V) analog supply, consumes 12 mW in normal mode, and is offered in a compact TSSOP‑24 package. Detailed electrical characteristics, timing diagrams, and mechanical data are provided throughout the sheet.
