About this manual

The MAX4711, MAX4712, and MAX4713 are fault‑protected, rail‑to‑rail, low‑voltage analog switches. They feature low on‑resistance, guaranteed on‑resistance flatness over the specified signal range, and a fault protection mechanism that clamps the output to the appropriate supply voltage when an input exceeds the rails.

The devices are available in quad SPST configurations: MAX4711 provides four normally closed (NC) switches, MAX4712 provides four normally open (NO) switches, and MAX4713 provides two NO and two NC switches. They operate from a single +2.7 V to +11 V supply or dual ±2.7 V to ±5.5 V supplies, with TTL‑ and CMOS‑compatible logic thresholds.
