This file introduces the new features of Maxim's DG444/DG445 analog switches, including low resistance, low power consumption, and anti-static electricity.
The DG444 and DG445 are quad, single‑pole/single‑throw (SPST) analog switches from Maxim. The DG444 provides four normally‑closed switches, while the DG445 provides four normally‑open switches. They operate with low on‑resistance, low charge injection, and high ESD tolerance.
Key features include on‑resistance matching up to 4 Ω between channels, on‑resistance flatness up to 9 Ω, charge injection ≤10 pC, off‑leakage current <5 nA at +85 °C, and switching times under 250 ns (tON) and 70 ns (tOFF). The devices support single‑supply (+10 V to +30 V) or bipolar (±4.5 V to ±20 V) operation and are available in various DIP, SO, and thin‑QFN packages.
| On‑Resistance (RDS(ON)) | 50‑85 Ω |
|---|---|
| Charge Injection | 10 pC max |
| ESD Tolerance | 2000 V min |
| Switching Time | tON <250 ns, tOFF <70 ns |
| Supply Voltage Range | Single +10 V to +30 V or bipolar ±4.5 V to ±20 V |
| On‑Resistance Match Between Channels | 4 Ω max |
They operate from a single +10 V to +30 V supply or bipolar ±4.5 V to ±20 V supplies.
The on‑resistance matching is specified as up to 4 Ω maximum.
They are rated for a minimum of 2000 V ESD tolerance.
