The UP82060 650-PS power supply is part of the new 600 series of soldering stations. It can be mounted on a bench or wall and used with any 24 volt, 50 watt maximum soldering iron. This unit complies with EMC regulations and has the CE mark. The package includes the ST6 bench stand and an LED indicator to show that the power is on. Soldering irons for use with the 650-PS should be ordered complete with PSU plug. The Energy Regulator allows a standard soldering iron (up to 200 watts) to be used for applications that require lower temperatures, such as wax painting, dental molding, plastics etching, and document preservation. It can control down to approximately 100°C depending on the model of the iron. The ANTEX Energy Regulator is designed for use with any 230 volt ANTEX soldering irons with a maximum of 200 watts. The soldering iron is connected to the Energy Regulator instead of a normal mains plug. The Plug-in power supply unit offers a cost-effective solution for providing 24 volts for soldering.
