PSOT03LC thru PSOT36LC is an ultra low capacitance TVS array produced by ProtekDevices, USA. It is mainly used in Ethernet, mobile phones, FireWire, audio/video inputs and other fields. The product has the characteristics of ESD protection > 40 kilovolts, 500 watts peak pulse power, low clamping voltage, available in 3V-36V, ultra low capacitance 5pF and RoHS compliance.
The PSOT03LC‑PSOT36LC series are ultra‑low capacitance transient voltage suppressor (TVS) arrays designed for Ethernet, cellular, FireWire, audio/video and portable electronics applications. They provide both unidirectional and bidirectional protection with a surge capability of 500 W per line for an 8/20 µs waveform and ESD protection greater than 40 kV.
The devices are supplied in a molded JEDEC SOT‑23 package, weigh about 8 mg, and are RoHS compliant. Electrical specifications include operating temperatures from –55 °C to 150 °C, low clamping voltages (as low as 4 V for the 3 V part), and an ultra‑low capacitance of 5 pF. Mechanical dimensions, pin configuration, and recommended PCB layout guidelines are provided to aid designers.
