About this manual

The USB0403 TVS array is designed to protect I/O or data lines from ESD, EFT, and surge events. It offers both unidirectional and bidirectional configurations, supports multiple voltage options from 3 V to 24 V, and delivers up to 500 W peak pulse power for an 8/20 µs waveform. Key features include >40 kV ESD protection, low leakage, low capacitance (5 pF per line pair), and RoHS‑compliant lead‑free versions.

Mechanical details specify a molded JEDEC SOT‑143 package weighing about 9 mg, with options for tin‑lead or pure‑tin plating. Recommended PCB layout practices emphasize placing the device close to connectors, minimizing trace length, reducing loops, and using solid ground planes. The series is supplied in tape‑and‑reel form per EIA‑481 standards.
