About this manual

The MAX9644, MAX9645, and MAX9646 are small, single‑ended comparators designed for portable electronics such as cell phones, media players, notebooks, and medical devices. They feature a 0.2 V internal reference, ultra‑low supply current, and operate from 1 V to 5.5 V while maintaining high input impedance even when powered down.

Available in a 1 mm × 1 mm × 0.6 mm 4‑bump UCSP package (equivalent to two 0402 resistors) or a 5‑pin SOT‑23, the devices provide propagation delays of about 15 ns, operate from –40 °C to +85 °C, and offer either open‑drain (MAX9644/5) or push‑pull (MAX9646) outputs.
