This document provides installation, setup, and operation information for the MDA Scientific Midas toxic, flammable, and oxygen gas detector. The detector is capable of detecting a wide range of toxic, flammable, and oxygen gases used or generated in the semiconductor manufacturing industry and other manufacturing industries.
The Midas gas detector is an extractive sampling system that draws gas from a local or remote point to a sensor cartridge inside the chassis. It supports a wide range of toxic, flammable and oxygen sensor cartridges and can be powered by PoE or a 24 VDC supply.
This guide provides step‑by‑step instructions for mounting the detector, connecting power and signal wiring, installing the sensor cartridge, and performing basic diagnostics and calibration using the built‑in menus.
