About this manual

The ADN2882 is a high‑gain SiGe transimpedance amplifier designed for 4.25 Gbps optical receivers. It converts the small current of a photodiode into a large differential voltage, offering an optical sensitivity of –22 dBm (0.85 A/W) and a typical power dissipation of 80 mW.

The device is supplied in die form for small‑package assemblies such as 5‑pin TO‑46 headers. It includes an on‑chip RC filter, RSSI monitoring circuit, and supports low‑frequency cutoff of 12 kHz without external components.
