This document introduces the LMP7721, a precision amplifier with an ultra-low input bias current of 3 fA, a supply voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V, and is ideal for battery-powered portable applications.
The LMP7721 precision amplifier offers the industry’s lowest guaranteed input bias current, with a typical value of +20 fA at 25 °C and a maximum of +900 fA at 85 °C. Its ultra‑low bias is achieved through patented input‑bias‑cancellation circuitry, delivering low offset voltage, low noise, and high open‑loop gain.
The device is supplied in an 8‑pin SOIC package with a special pinout that isolates the input from power and output pins, reducing PCB leakage currents. It operates from –40 °C to 125 °C and supports supply voltages from 1.8 V to 5.5 V, making it suitable for battery‑powered portable applications such as photodiode, electrometer, and pH‑electrode amplifiers.
