This document describes the features and characteristics of the X76F041 password access security supervisor device, including 64-bit password security, three password modes, programmable configuration, 8-byte sector write, etc.
The X76F041 is a password‑access security supervisor device containing four 128 × 8‑bit SecureFlash arrays. Access is controlled by three 64‑bit programmable passwords for read, write, and configuration operations. The device uses a simple two‑wire serial interface (SCL and SDA) with a chip‑select line, allowing multiple devices on the same bus.
Key features include 8‑byte sector writes, low standby current (50 µA) and active current (3 mA), a wide supply range (1.8 V to 3.6 V or 5 V “Univolt”), 100 000 write‑cycle endurance, 100‑year data retention, and an ISO‑standard 32‑bit response to reset. Packaging options are 8‑lead plastic DIP or SOIC, with commercial temperature range 0 °C to +70 °C and extended range –20 °C to +85 °C.
| Password length | 64‑bit |
|---|---|
| Endurance | 100,000 cycles |
| Data retention | 100 years |
| Standby current | 50 µA |
| Active current | 3 mA |
| Supply voltage | 1.8 V to 3.6 V or 5 V “Univolt” |
| Package types | 8‑lead plastic DIP, 8‑lead SOIC |
It supports three 64‑bit programmable passwords for read, write, and configuration access.
The device outputs a 32‑bit fixed data stream that conforms to the ISO standard for synchronous response to reset.
The standby current is 50 µA.
